Just a block from the Gaslamp Quarter is PETCO Park, home of the San Diego Padres. Enjoy a ballgame from the Western Metal Building lounges or the Park in the Park ball field. PETCO Park is also one of the best baseball stadiums for food and beer. Say goodbye to old pizza and flavorless hot dogs. Say hello to pulled pork sandwiches from Phil's BBQ, double bacon cheeseburgers from Hodad's, and some fresh, flavorful sushi from Zenbu. To make it a truly San Diegan experience, PETCO Park even has craft beers on tap.

Whether you want fine dining or a casual, laidback eatery, the Gaslamp Quarter has everything you could need. At the top of the list is Searsucker, which offers new twists on classic American dishes, including buttermilk fried chicken, locally sourced seafood, and tomahawk ribeye. Werewolf offers 33 beer taps, great cocktails, and a wide array of dishes, from gourmet sandwiches to tender short ribs. For those with insatiable sweet teeth, grab some creamy gelato, chocolate, and fresh crepes at Chocolat Cremerie.

Once the sun sets, the nightlife heats up. Thousands flock to the Gaslamp Quarter at night to take in the fine dining, nightclubs, dancing, music, and live theater. From Altitude Sky Lounge to the House of Blues to Kava Lounge, you can dance the night away and make amazing memories until the sun comes up.
